Victoria Merrill: Since graduating from Loughborough University in 2003, I can regularly be found outside of the studio, drawing either in my home county of Leicestershire or much further afield. My husband and I love to travel (although I’m not so fond of packing!) and it is the personal experiences gained during our adventures throughout the UK and abroad that have the most influence on subject matter for my illustration. I particularly enjoy combining my love of the great outdoors and a passion for architecture to produce illustrations out on location. My strengths in design and placement can be seen throughout my work and I relish showing attention to detail. My work was selected for the AOI Images 29 Annual and previous clients include Here's Health, Slimming, Leicester Expo, Newgem and Granta Books.
